Nov-08 Camp Wakonda is located at the edge of Fontenelle Forest in Bellevue Nebraska. This Boy Scout Camp has been around since the 1960s. It is used for both Cub Scout and Boy Scout activities. This was the Troop’s 2nd stay at the camp. We saw typical November weather for the weekend; sleet, rain, and some flurries. Temperatures were in the high 30s during the day and low 20s at night. The new Scouts that just bridged over from Webelos got a chance to work on their Totin’ Chip taught by Josh M. There are some pictures of the Troop at the November 2008 camp out in the photo gallery .
