Two Fundraisers for Little Sioux Scout Ranch 200806

This Sunday 06/22/2008 was a busy day for Troop 412. The Troop had two different fundraisers to raise money for rebuilding Little Sioux Scout Ranch. The Troop started their day at 7:00 AM working on their cooking merit badge in the parking lot of it’s charter organization Zion Lutheran Church. The Scouts prepared many delicious Dutch oven dishes. After the Sunday service the congregation was able to sample the dishes. All donations from the lunch were given toward the rebuilding of Little Sioux Scout Ranch Boy Scout Troop 412 from Omaha holds another fundraiser for Little Sioux Scout Ranch. Later in the day Troop 412 held a popcorn sale fundraiser at Crossroads Mall near the carnival. All proceeds from the sale and donations taken were given to Little Sioux Scout Ranch. This was the Troop’s 2nd fundraiser for Little Sioux Scout Ranch this Sunday. BSA Troop 412 was filmed by local news station KPTM during the fundraiser.
